On Friday, August 16, Merakey programs at 27 East Mt. Airy Avenue in Philadelphia came together for a special event—their first annual summer barbecue. The day was filled with the aroma of delicious food, the rhythm of great music, and, most importantly, the joy of connection and camaraderie among staff members. Under the beautiful summer sky, everyone had a chance to relax, unwind, and engage with one another, making it a perfect way to wrap up the season. A big thank you to all the staff who participated and helped make the day a success, and a special shoutout to Program Director Kelli Ziomek for coordinating such a wonderful event.
