On October 16, the Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) Team at Merakey Stevens Center were celebrated alongside 50 other Certified Peer Specialists and Certified Recovery Specialists at the region's Behavioral Health Collaborative's Global Peer Support Day Celebration. Held annually on the third Thursday in October, this day recognizes the important role of peer professionals in mental health and recovery.
