The Crafton - Ingram Rotary Club joined Merakey AVS for the holidays again this year! The Rotary members helped us celebrate by delivering gifts to the individuals at Merakey’s Patricia Hillman Miller Campus. Thanks to all who participated in this wonderful tradition!
Bird, bird, bird – bird is the word! David, Tony, and Frank from Merakey’s Robinson II Home had a fun visit with Administrator Susan Cassidy’s parrot, Steve.
The smell of pine was in the air at the Pittsburgh Campus Greenhouse’s holiday celebration. Everyone in attendance listened to holiday music as they created personalized stockings, festive ornaments, and played a Christmas leap frog target game. One of the decorations featured a beautiful wreath with fragrant herbs, made by Greenhouse Coordinator Aaliyah Dimarco.
This year, the greenhouse will be introducing nature into new forms of artwork. Stay tuned for more stories throughout the year about how the program is getting back in full swing since the onset of the pandemic.
The ladies from Merakey Clearview and staff member Aundrea Cox had a wonderful time this holiday season!
