Annual DDTT/ITS Directors Retreat

The Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team and Intensive Treatment Services from California held their annual directors retreat last week and celebrated 15 years of the Dual Diagnosis Team. Attendees included Program Directors from 15 DDTT/ITS programs across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and California, Regional Directors, and Executive Leadership. On day one, Corporal Aaron Allen of the PA State Police presented on the Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) that is newly available to PA State Police officers. There was also a presentation from Humessence on going from Burnout to Resiliency and then updates on the DDTT/ITS programs and the current changes to Medicaid were provided. Day two of the retreat consisted of presentations from Merakey's Human Resources and Recruiting on Behavioral Interviewing and the Corrective Action Plan/Performance Improvement Plan process. DDTT/ITS's Clinical Team also provided a training on Case Formulation. This retreat is a great event that brings program directors together in an uninterrupted space to learn from each other and learn new processes to help their teams succeed.
