On November 13–14, the Louisiana and Virginia ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) teams came together for their annual Team Lead Summit. This gathering provided an important opportunity for leaders from across both states to connect, collaborate, and strengthen their shared approach to supporting staff and clients. Bringing team leads together in the same space allows them to share best practices, identify common challenges, and build greater consistency in how they lead their teams. Throughout the summit, they focused on communication, supervision strategies, and reinforcing program expectations. Leaders were able to exchange ideas, learn from each other’s experiences, and gain clarity on expectations, something that is difficult to accomplish when working across different locations. The summit helped re-energize the leadership group, strengthen relationships, and set a strong foundation for consistent and effective leadership across all sites.
