We have almost 700 locations providing services
Merakey is proud to provide services across the country in 12 states from almost 700 locations, each offering a unique blend of services to improve the lives of our consumers. Our staff of more than 10,000 works hard every day at each of these locations to fulfill our purpose of putting our heart and soul into exceptional care.
We offer more than 1,000 programs across the country
We offer a wide range of programs focused on helping people with things like addiction, autism, and depression. The majority of these programs are focused on intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are the largest non-profit provider of these services in the country.
We serve more than 40,000 individuals a year
We couldn’t be more proud of the impact we have on our communities. That is 40,000 people and families whose lives have improved due to the work we do at Merakey. As we expand to new locations and add new programs, we’ll be able to help even more people live up to their fullest potential.
Our programs consistently out-perform
For example, our “Grant and Per Diem” housing programs are funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs to help place veterans in homes and jobs. Our programs beat the VA’s targets every time. In Philadelphia, every single veteran in our Fresh Start program found a job by the end of the program!
Most importantly, we changed lives
While we love to talk about how many people we’ve helped, we’re most proud of how we’ve changed the life of each individual. These are the stories that we love to tell. These success stories are what make us excited to come to work each day.
Chris doesn’t let life challenges get in the way of achieving his goals!
Newly independent after graduating from Merakey’s Intensive Transition Services program for adults with dual diagnosis, Chris has made our team proud and is ready for anything.
Kenya is excelling in school and making her teachers proud!
When her classes in Merakey’s Autism School were moved online, Kenya adapted to the new normal and stayed focused, exceeding expectations and winning praise for her attitude.
