Earlier this week in San Diego, CA, Regional Director Michelle Cozad and Executive Director Alisa Dean hosted a team building event for the leadership from Merakey’s IDD programs. Senior Executive Director of Clinical Services Dr. Tim Barksdale, who is in California for the next two weeks to welcome and to train new staff for programs that are opening soon, also joined the event.
Because of the pandemic, this was the first time that many of the local team members had the opportunity to see each other in person, rather than through Zoom. The team was also excited to celebrate newly promoted Clinical Director Paola Gonzalez and her husband, Kyle Ortiz, who got married last weekend!
