On August 13, 2021, four individuals from Merakey’s Parkside Recovery at the Germantown location in Philadelphia, graduated from the Recovery Through Work Program. Through a partnership with PA CareerLink and EDSI, the Recovery through Work program provides job readiness skills and professional development training in an eight-week program for individuals in recovery from addiction. Participants focus on topics and skills that include goal-setting, time management, resume writing, how to find the right employer, and how to prep for an interview. The structured program helps individuals take the necessary steps towards meeting their employment goals.
Graduates received certificates of completion and Merakey branded gifts to congratulate them on this incredible achievement.
