Self-advocate Elizabeth Humphrey and Development and Community Engagement Coordinator Amy Rocini from Merakey AVS attended the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Victory Lap Celebration on November 16 at Dual Devils Garage. It was an exciting new venue with unique cars on display in the showroom and upstairs in the garage.
Liz thanked the sponsors and volunteers for their generosity and shared with them that some of the funds from the PVGP were used to create an outdoor space with a gazebo and to purchase new outdoor furniture for her and her friends at their Merakey home. The Victory Lap Celebration recognizes sponsors, volunteers and everyone associated with the event to celebrate the successes of getting the PVGP ‘Back on Track’ in 2021.
