The second annual Light Up the Night Holiday Drive-Thru at Merakey AVS Edward J. Zapp Program Center in Coraopolis, PA, welcomed individuals and staff to celebrate the holiday season safely on December 9 and 10. Led by Program Director Jan Harvilla and Assistant Program Director Tom Ford, everyone was treated to a winter wonderland, complete with music, holiday lights, inflatable decorations, and handmade yard signs celebrating each of the winter holidays. Individuals and staff members enjoyed the drive-thru attraction from the windows of their vans, and at the final stop, Santa hopped aboard each shuttle and surprised them with gifts and holiday treats.

Staff created the Light Up the Night Holiday Drive-Thru in 2020, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a way to engage its employees and individuals it supports during the holiday season. Thank you to the all the staff who work tirelessly to buy gifts, bake cookies, create gift bags, and decorate the site.
