Last week, Merakey’s Children’s Services Program in Philadelphia distributed more than 100 brand-new winter coats for children, donated by Pacifico Marple Ford through the Auto Dealers Caring for Kids Foundation. Children between the ages of two and 10 and participants of the PACT (Parents and Children Together) and Children’s Services Outpatient programs, were accompanied by their parents to pick up their new coats, just in time for the cold, winter weather. The event followed COVID-19 safety measures, with families given specific times to come to the site to avoid large crowds.
Local news stations 6ABC and Fox29 were on location to share the event with viewers across the Delaware Valley. Thank you to Pacifico Marple Ford for your generous contributions, again this year, and for keeping children in our programs warm this winter!
